We never ask for personal information unless the user decides to start a psychological relation with Psicogu. 

Psicogu never shares personal information of our users with anyone, except to comply with the law and/or in case we have the user express authorization.

As provided in the General Data Protection Regulation cited above, the personal data that the user send us through the web forms will receive the data treatment of “Users of the web and subscribers”.

For the treatment of our user’s data, we implement all the technical and organizational security measures established in the current legislation.


The personal data that we treat in Psicogu come from:

  • Contact forms.
  • Comments in the blog.
  • User Data.
  • Interviews, evaluations and psychological treatments.



When a user connects to this website and gets in contact with Psicogu, they might need to provide personal information among which we can find their name, email, IP, contact telephone number, among others. By providing this information, the user gives their consent to collect, manage, use and store said information in in accordance with our terms and conditions and this privacy policy.

​In there are different systems for capturing and treating personal information with the following purpose for each capture system:

  • Contact form: Here we request your name and E-Mail. We ask you for this information to answer any possible doubts, questions, comments or requests for information and service rates.
  • User personal information: Here we ask you for a contact telephone number and other means of contact through which we can maintain a more personal and direct communication. In particular, we require the telephone number to contact you if necessary, as well as to notify you of possible changes in the sessions schedule. Likewise, the transmission of information may also be made through internal messaging. Other personal accounts could be requested for which to carry out, always under the agreement, sessions by videoconference if needed.
  • Interview data and psychological treatment: Here we request data and information related to health, both psychological and physical. These data are collected orally or in writing, by questionnaires and psychological tests. We need these data to be able to design the necessary psychological intervention and treatment according to your needs, as well as to manage the causes for which you hire our psychology services.

In accordance with the provisions of the general European data protection regulation (RGPD) 2016/679, Psicogu will be responsible for the processing of the corresponding data.

Psicogu does not sell, rent or transfer personal data that can identify the user, nor will it do so in the future.


The treatment of the user’s personal data will be subject to the following principles set out in article 5 of the RGPD:

  • Principle of legality, loyalty and transparency: the consent of the User is required at all times, prior completely transparent information of the purposes for which the personal data is collected.
  • Principle of purpose limitation: personal data will be collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes.
  • Principle of data minimization: the personal data collected will only be those strictly necessary with the purposes for which they are processed.

Anyone has the right to obtain confirmation on whether Psicogu is treating their personal data.

By exercising your right to data portability, you will have the right to have personal data transmitted directly from professional to professional when technically possible.


The data provided by the users will not be transmitted to third parties, thus protecting the confidentiality of data and personal information. However, this may only be transmitted to third parties in cases of legal proceedings and/or related to the integrity and security of users and/or their family members.

Minors may not use Psicogu services without the written and verified approval of their legal guardians. In any case, Psicogu is not responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of the data filled in by the user and therefore cannot verify their age.


Psicogu is committed to the use and treatment of the personal data of users, respecting their confidentiality and using them per the purpose thereof. Psicogu complies with their obligation to save their user’s information and adapt all measures to avoid alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access by the provisions of current data protection regulations.

However, Psicogu cannot guarantee the unenforceability of the internet or the total absence of hackers or others who fraudulently access personal data. The person responsible for the treatment undertakes to notify the User without undue delay when a violation of the security of personal data that is likely to pose a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the patients.

Personal data will be treated as confidential by the person responsible for the treatment, who undertakes to inform and guarantee through a legal or contractual obligation. Confidentiality is respected by its employees, associates, and any person to whom the information is made accessible.


As a user, you are solely responsible for the veracity and correctness of the data that you provide to Psicogu, which will be exonerated of any responsibility in this regard.

Users perform and respond, in any case, to the accuracy, validity and authenticity of the personal data provided, and undertake to keep them duly updated. The user agrees to provide the complete and correct information in the contact, subscription and registration forms.


The user declares to have been informed of the conditions on the protection of personal data, accepting and consenting to the treatment thereof by Psicogu in the manner and for the purposes indicated in this privacy policy.

The given consent, both for the treatment and for the transfer of the data of the interested parties is revocable at any time by communicating it directly to Psicogu. This revocation will in no case be retroactive.


When browsing in, non-identifiable data can be collected, which may include IP addresses, geographical location (approximately), a record of how the services and sites are used, and other data that cannot be used to identify the user. We use this data to administer the site and to collect demographic and statistical information about the group of clients.


Psicogu may include hyperlinks or links that allow access to web pages of third parties other than Psicogu and therefore are not operated by it. The owners of these websites will have their data protection policies, being themselves, in each case, responsible for their files and their privacy practices.


Psicogu does not carry out SPAM practices, so it does not send commercial emails electronically and information on the services of the platform has not been previously requested.​


Psicogu reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy, according to its criteria, or motivated by a legislative, jurisprudential or doctrinal change regarding data protection. Changes or updates to this Privacy Policy will not be explicitly notified to the user.​
